A quick endorsement

I usually don't like to do short posts, in case no one has noticed, but I just read an article from Bill Simmons, a.k.a. "The Sports Guy" on espn.com, about NBC's reality show "The Contender". Now I know at least some of the people that read my blog hate reality TV, but you should give this show a shot. It's not getting great ratings, but it's just a good show. It's not your typical exploitive, shameless reality show. Give this column a read. Simmons mentions how at the end of this past week's episode, his wife (The Sports Gal) was crying. So was my wife. As I said, it's not your typical reality show. It's at different times intense, poignant, and unintentionally hilarious. Also there's Sylvester Stallone, who alone is worth the price of admission. Again, I wouldn't normally plug a reality show, because I know a lot of people who read here hate it. This one's different. If you read the column, you'll see that Simmons likes pretty much any reality show. I'm not that way, and I love this show. Anyway, I'll shut up now and let you read the column and then maybe you can check out the show on Sunday night. I think you'll enjoy it. Hopefully I'm gearing up for a big post here. I'm still pretty busy with house stuff, but I'll throw down a big post soon.
