One o'clock on Sunday morning and I can't sleep. I don't know what it is about Saturday nights/Sunday mornings, but this seems to be the trend. Weird. But that's not why I'm here. I'll probably be writing for the Torch a few times this week, since UFC 63 is coming up next Saturday, but there's a long week coming between now and then. Tomorrow we've got an open house here. We still haven't had any showings up until now, so hopefully this will start something. Then I'll be staying in Kokomo Monday and Tuesday to finish up some training, which will be nice--I haven't been in at the house for more than a couple of days in a month or so. Then I'll be getting back up to Fort Wayne on Wednesday morning to keep an appointment at 9:00 (more likely I'll reschedule it so I'm not leaving so early from here). Then I'll be working from open to close on Friday and Saturday before coming back here to cover the UFC event on Saturday night for the Torch. Which will probably get over right around this time next Sunday morning. So the week is pretty well planned out. If there's anything of note between now and then that goes on, I'll be sure and put it in this space. If not, you'll at least see a couple of columns over on MMATorch and next week's NFL picks over on the Diary. (I posted this week's just prior to writing this.) Until then, faithful readers, Excelsior!
Song of the Day: "Revelation", by Audioslave. That's the title track from their new album, and it's another solid offering. That's what I like about Audioslave. They don't take forever getting the next epic album ready for release, and then it's dissappointing. They don't try to be self-important, or act like anything they're not. It's just solid rock music. Maybe the last two albums haven't been worth 5 cents, but if you ask me, they're both worth four. Or at least 3 and a half.
