I guess enough people read my reasons about why Indiana should observe daylight savings time, because they finally decided to do it. Joy of joys. Now the only question is whether we'll be on Eastern or Central time. Right now we're on Eastern Standard all year long, so I don't see the reasoning behind going to Central. Yeah, we're close to Chicago, but what's that got to do with anything? The states to the north, south, and east of us are all on Eastern time. Also, it wouldn't solve the problem of the sun coming up at ungodly hours. Right now, it's bright at 5:30. That will only get worse as we head into the summer. But I would have to assume that if these people are reasonable enough to fix a 30-year old mistake, they'd be reasonable enough to see what time zone we belong in. Of course, that's what you get for assuming. So we'll see.
I mentioned in another post that "Lost" is currently the best show on TV. I still think this, but they sure did piss me off on Wednesday night. I'll explain: for a few weeks, they've been running reruns. So this week, when I saw there would be a new episode, I was excited to see it. What was the new episode, you ask? A flashback. Were they serious with this? If it was going to be a flashback, they should have at least advertised it as such. (Then again, maybe they did. TiVo doesn't make me watch commercials. But still.) That way at least the people who haven't seen the show could catch up to where we are now, and they could start watching. If they did advertise it as a flashback, and not an all-new episode, someone tell me. If so, my ire may be dimmed (but not fully extinguished).
I'm at work right now, and the wife called a little bit ago to say she was taking Luke to the doctor because he's not his usual self (he hasn't been for a couple of days). He's usually a pretty happy kid, and lately he's been cranky and whiny, and won't sleep like he used to. So hopefully everything's alright there. It's probably nothing big, but also nothing to make my day any better. That's all for me right now. I could go on, but I'm not in the best of moods right now, which in this case does not make for great posts.
