Over at http://www.sitemeter.com/, one can monitor the traffic of one's blog. One of the options is to see the referral links that have brought people to the site. Quite often (for me at least), these links are search results. So basically what's happened here is that people have searched for something on google or yahoo or what have you, they've seen the link to this blog, and they've clicked. With the "Doctor's Office" theme to this blog, sometimes I get interesting clickthroughs. What I'll do here is just copy and paste, so excuse capitalization and spelling. So here are the most recent things people have searched for and happened upon this little blog of ours (in the order in which they were received):
1. doctor's excuse from work
2. doctor office hours (this blog came up as the third result--weird)
3. list of awesome rock bands (look no further, my friend)
4. how to get rid of foul odors inside of a wall from dead bird (I hope they got the bird out before they searched for this)
5. "the doctor's office" and blog (someone had to be looking for my blog here...right?)
6. diet doctor office
7. phlebotomy, humorous (two words you don't often see together)
8. plasma donation nyc
9. doctor office bathroom (I can't imagine they found what they were looking for here)
10. story taking place at a doctor's office
11. Friday doctor's office video
12. scared needles
13. where can i find a list of bands (see above)
14. hilarious office games for teams (your guess is as good as mine)
15. novelty for doctor office
16. story taking place at a doctor's office
17. Friday doctor's office video
18. doctor offi (...okay)
19. opening a doctor's office
20. DOCTOR'S OFFICE PORN (originally in all caps...I wouldn't make this up)
21. dead bird in my bathroom fan vent (there were quite a few results for this one...including, of course, this post.)
22. doctor's office
23. doctor needle butt (I'm not even sure what to say here...maybe it's from me calling Drew Rosenhaus a pimple on the butt of the NFL.)
24. "plasma donation""needle""picture"
So that's it for this installment. I'm sure this list will return though.
Song of the Day: "10 A.M. Automatic", by The Black Keys. Who knew a band consisting of a guitarist and a drummer could be this good? If you haven't checked them out, you should.
Also, happy birthday Stacie!
